Anatomy of a Surface Design

Motif
Motif refers to the subject, theme or idea of a print. We specialize in botanical prints, as we love to draw and paint flowers, trees, plants and animals.

Style
The style of a print is reflected in the way in which it’s drawn, designed or painted. Do you prefer a simple, graphic print or a meticulously painted jungle? What about soft, dreamy watercolors? We enjoy working in a range of styles.

Scale & Density
Scale refers to the size of each element relative to the wall itself. A dense pattern is full of imagery, while a sparse pattern contains large areas of solid color.

Color
Bright, subdued, inky, deep, pastel - it’s up to you. Ask us to match a color specific to your brand or work in a rainbow of shades, hues and tones.
