About Melissa
Melissa Rothman is an illustrator and surface designer from the Philadelphia area. Melissa's work is inspired by the randomness and order of nature and time. She draws visual inspiration from nature itself, textile design, and decorative artwork. Melissa works in various styles and various mediums including watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencil, and digital. She has worked professionally as a graphic designer, illustrator, and art educator. Melissa received a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts in 2014 and an MS in Surface Design from Philadelphia University in 2019.
